Impressive Diesel and Petrol Engines
The engines in the Golf wagon boast exceptional power along with remarkable fuel efficiency. The range features the 1.6 litre (77kW) TDI diesel engine and the soon to be released 1.4 litre (90kW) TSI petrol engine. Both engines come standard with the 7 speed DSG dual clutch gearbox. These engines translate to an economical combined fuel consumption of 4.8litres/100km for the TDI and 6.0litres/100kms for the TSI. Both have achieved the Euro 5 emission rating.

Maximum safety and security
Safety equipment on the new Golf wagon includes front and side airbags for the driver and the front passenger and curtain airbags for front and rear passengers. The rear seats are fitted with three retractable head restraints and three point seat belts for all seats. Plus ISOFIX mounting points on the outer two rear seats for child seats. Front warning tone and lamp has been fitted if front seat belts are not fastened.

High levels of safety
The new Golf wagon provides high levels of safety including its electrical stabilisation program (ESP) including drivers steering recommendation, comfort brake assist, Antilock Braking system (ABS), Electronic Diff Lock (EDL) and Anti Skid regulation (ASR).
